CSS to Tailwind converter

Rebuild any public page with Tailwind utility classes.

Tailwind

Convert any web page to Tailwind

Paste a URL and get the page back as one HTML file styled with Tailwind utility classes, with its breakpoints and hover states intact. The match score shows how close it is to the original before you export. Only need the raw markup? Use View page source. Going the other way? Try the Tailwind to CSS converter.

CSS to Tailwind questions

Is it free, and how do exports work?

Converting is free and needs no account. To copy, download or deploy the HTML, sign in with a free ship.page account. Free accounts get 3 exports per calendar month, and exporting the same conversion again doesn't count twice. Pro is $4/mo with unlimited exports.

Should I pick Tailwind v4 or v3, and what does the prefix do?

Pick the version your project uses; v4 is the default. The prefix keeps generated classes from clashing with your own: v4 output uses twfy:flex and v3 output uses twfy-flex. Leave it off for plain class names like flex and p-4.

What does the match score mean?

How closely the converted page matches the original. Screenshots of both versions let you check the difference yourself.

Can I convert HTML files that aren't online?

Yes. Drop the files or a zip file onto ship.page to get a free https://<slug>.shipped.run link (no account needed), then paste that link here.

What does the converted HTML depend on?

It's a single HTML file that loads Tailwind from a CDN in the browser. Preflight is off, so the page keeps its original base styles. Images and fonts still load from the original site, so copy them over if you need a fully self-contained page.

What can't it convert?

Only public pages work. Banking, webmail, hosting control panels and login pages are refused. You can start 3 conversions a minute, and results are kept for 24 hours.
