Ready to ship

A file. A folder. A fresh start.

Your static site, one link away.

Shipping…

Uploading publishes your file. The link is public but unlisted, not password-protected, so leave out secrets and confidential content.

From HTML to a link in three steps

  1. Get your HTML ready: an .html file, a ZIP with index.html inside, or the code ChatGPT or another AI wrote for you.
  2. Upload the file or paste the code in the uploader above. Add your email address so we can send you a backup link, then publish. No account, no password.
  3. Copy your link and send it anywhere. It opens in any browser, on phones and laptops, with nothing to install.

Or turn a file into a link with curl

curl -X POST https://ship.page/deploy \
  -H "Content-Type: text/html" \
  --data-binary @index.html

The response is JSON with your live URL. No account or API key needed.

What you get for free

  • A public link on its own subdomain, live seconds after you publish
  • HTML files up to 10 MiB, with inline CSS, JavaScript and images
  • ZIPs up to 25 MiB and 100 files, for pages with separate images, styles or scripts
  • 30 days online without an account; claim the link for free to keep it for 90 days
  • Your files served byte for byte, with only a small badge visitors can close

Got the HTML from ChatGPT?

Copy the whole code block, from <!DOCTYPE html> to </html>, open the Paste HTML tab in the uploader and paste it in. That's all it takes.

If the code came as separate HTML, CSS and JavaScript files, ask ChatGPT to combine everything into one HTML file. Or save the files in one folder, name the page index.html and upload the folder or a ZIP of it.

What works on the page

Static files only: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and PDFs. JavaScript runs in the visitor's browser, including libraries loaded from a CDN. Server-side code doesn't: no PHP, no Node, no database, no WordPress. If the page works when you open it from your own disk, it works here.

Questions

How do I turn an HTML file into a link?

Upload the file above or paste its code into the Paste HTML tab, add your email address and publish. You get a public link on its own subdomain within seconds, and anyone you send it to can open it in a browser.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

It's free and there's no account. The uploader asks for an email address only to send you a backup link for claiming the page later. No password, no credit card.

Can I do this on my phone?

Yes. The uploader works in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android: pick the file from your Files app or paste the code, then publish. The link works on any device.

How long does the link work?

Free links stay live for 30 days. Claim the page with a free login to keep it for 90 days from claiming. Paid plans keep pages online with no expiry.

Who can see my page?

Anyone who has the link. The URL is unguessable, pages ask search engines not to index them and there's no public list of uploads, but free pages aren't password-protected. Leave out passwords and private data; paid plans add password protection.

Can I edit the page after sharing the link?

A free link always shows what you uploaded. To change the page, upload it again and share the new link. Paid named deployments replace the page at the same URL every time you upload.
