How to host an HTML file with no account
Prepare your HTML file, folder or ZIP
Save a single .html file up to 10 MB, or put multiple files in a folder or a .zip up to 25 MB (100 MB unpacked, up to 100 files) with index.html as the homepage. You can also copy raw HTML to paste directly in the browser.
Drop it onto ship.page with no signup
Drag your HTML file, ZIP or folder into the browser uploader, pick it from your computer, or paste your HTML. You do not need an account, an email address or a credit card.
Share the live HTTPS link or QR code
Your page is live in seconds on its own subdomain over HTTPS, and visitors see your page directly without a password screen. Copy the URL or download the PNG QR code from the success screen.
Claim or upgrade later if you want to manage it
Publish without an account, or claim the page with a free account (sign in with Google or an email link, no card) and it stays online as long as you keep it. If you need to update the page at the same URL, Pro is $4 a month.

| Netlify Drop | None to start; Netlify account required to claim and keep it | Temporary password blocks visitors until you claim the site | Folder, ZIP or single HTML file (under 50 MB, files under 10 MB) |
| Vercel Drop | None for static sites; expires in 1 hour unless claimed | None stated | File, folder or ZIP from the browser |
| Cloudflare Drop | None to start; must claim within 60 minutes with an account | None stated | Folder, ZIP or single HTML file to a workers.dev address |
What other no-account HTML hosts ask for after you upload
Several drag-and-drop hosts let you start an upload before signing in, but add a gate right after. If you just want free HTML hosting where anyone with the link can open the page right away, check what happens to an unclaimed upload first.
ship.page opens straight to your page with no password wall, no email prompt and no credit card. Every upload gets its own subdomain over HTTPS and is sent with a noindex header so search engines leave it out, while anyone who has the link can open it.
- Netlify Drop (app.netlify.com/drop) takes a folder, ZIP or single HTML file with no account to start, but puts an unclaimed drop behind a temporary password until you claim it with a Netlify account, and unclaimed drops expire on their own.
- Vercel Drop (vercel.com/drop) lets you deploy a static file, folder or ZIP without an account (since October 19, 2026), but the deployment expires after one hour unless you sign in and claim the project.
- Cloudflare Drop (cloudflare.com/drop) takes a folder, ZIP or single HTML file on a workers.dev address with no account to start, and you must claim the deployment within 60 minutes with a Cloudflare account to keep it.
Tip: Pick Netlify, Vercel or Cloudflare when you already have an account with them and want to claim the upload into a full cloud dashboard or connect a custom domain.
What files work on a no-account upload
The browser uploader accepts .html files, .zip files, folders and pasted HTML, so you can turn HTML into a URL or host a ZIP file in one step. Inside a folder or ZIP, static files all work: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, audio, video, WebAssembly and JSON.
index.html is the homepage when you upload a folder or ZIP, and a ZIP with a single top folder is unwrapped automatically. A lone PDF, image or video file is not accepted by itself; put it in a folder or ZIP with an index.html.
- Single HTML file limit: up to 10 MB on every plan.
- Free ZIP limit: up to 25 MB compressed (100 MB unpacked) and up to 100 files per upload.
- Folder uploads go up as one request of at most 10 MB with the files encoded inside it (roughly 7 MB of files); zip bigger folders first.
- File paths are case-sensitive, and a page saved as about.html opens at /about.html while about/index.html opens at /about.
- There is no single-page-app fallback and no custom 404 page, so client-side routers should use hash routes like #/about.
- No server code runs (no PHP, Node.js, Python, database or WordPress), and pre-compressed .br or .gz builds need compression turned off or a JavaScript decompressor.
When to claim your page or use Pro
You can publish HTML without GitHub and without an account as many times as you like, up to 10 deploys a minute on the free plan with unlimited uploads and no bandwidth limits. Free pages show a small "Hosted on ship.page" badge that visitors can close.
If you want a list of your links, claim the page with a free account by signing in with Google or an email link (no credit card) and it stays online as long as you keep it. A free page cannot be updated in place; uploading a new version creates a new link.
Pro is $4 a month (billed monthly, cancel anytime, no yearly plan). Pro pages never expire (or you can pick any expiry from 60 seconds), and you can re-upload or edit a page and keep the same link, add password protection, remove the badge, upload ZIPs up to 100 MB (400 MB unpacked) with 10,000 files, and claim up to 5 custom subdomains like yourname.ship.place.
Tip: Developers can also publish with one curl command (POST https://ship.page/deploy), the MCP server at https://ship.page/mcp, or the GitHub Action.
Questions
Is there a free way to host an HTML file without an account?
Yes. On ship.page you can drag and drop a single HTML file up to 10 MB, a folder, or a ZIP up to 25 MB (up to 100 files) and get a live HTTPS link in seconds with no account, no email and no credit card. You can also paste raw HTML straight into the browser.
Will visitors see a password prompt on my no-account HTML page?
No. Pages published on ship.page without an account open directly for anyone who has the link. By comparison, an unclaimed site on Netlify Drop stays behind a temporary password until you claim it with a Netlify account.
How does ship.page compare with Vercel Drop and Cloudflare Drop for no-account hosting?
Vercel Drop and Cloudflare Drop both let you upload static files without signing in first, but Vercel Drop expires after one hour and Cloudflare Drop must be claimed within 60 minutes with a Cloudflare account. On ship.page you can publish without an account, or optionally claim the upload with a free account (no card) and it stays online as long as you keep it.
Can I update my HTML file later and keep the same URL?
On the free plan, a page cannot be updated in place, so a new upload gets a new link. On the Pro plan ($4 a month, cancel anytime), you can re-upload or edit a page and keep the same link, and Pro pages never expire.
Can I host CSS, JavaScript and images along with my HTML file without signing up?
Yes. Put your index.html and your CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts, audio, video, WebAssembly or JSON files into a folder or a ZIP file and drop it onto ship.page. The free plan supports up to 100 files per upload and ZIPs up to 25 MB (100 MB unpacked).
Are no-account uploads indexed by Google?
No. Every uploaded page on ship.page is sent with a noindex header so search engines leave it out, and ship.page does not list uploads anywhere public. Only people who have the link can open it.
