You can host a single HTML file online for free with no account, no email and no credit card on ship.page. Drag in a .html file up to 10 MB, a .zip up to 25 MB (100 MB unpacked) or a folder of up to 100 files and get a live HTTPS link in seconds. How to host an HTML file without an account

  1. Save your page as a single .html file

Keep your CSS and JavaScript inside the same file, or bundle an index.html with its assets in a folder or a .zip up to 25 MB. A single HTML file can be up to 10 MB.

  2. Drop the file into ship.page

Open ship.page in your browser and drag in your .html file, .zip or folder, or paste raw HTML straight into the box. You do not need an email address, a login or a credit card.

  3. Copy the HTTPS link or QR code

Your page is live in seconds on its own subdomain over HTTPS. Copy the URL or download the PNG QR code from the success screen and share it with anyone.

What anonymous means on each drag-and-drop host

Most browser drop tools let you start an upload before signing in, then ask for an account right after. If your goal is free HTML hosting without handing over an email address, that step matters.

ship.page asks for no login, no email and no credit card. You publish without an account, and visitors open the link right away with no password gate. You can claim the upload later with a free account using Google or an email link (no card), and it stays online as long as you keep it.

Other tools work differently when you do not sign in, and they are a better fit only when you already plan to claim the site inside an existing cloud account:

  • Netlify Drop (app.netlify.com/drop) accepts a single HTML file, folder or ZIP without an account, but puts the site behind a temporary password until you claim it with a Netlify account, and unclaimed drops expire on their own.
  • Vercel Drop (vercel.com/drop) has allowed no-account static deploys since October 19, 2026, and deletes them after one hour unless you sign in and claim the project.
  • Cloudflare Drop (cloudflare.com/drop) publishes a single HTML file, folder or ZIP to a workers.dev address without an account, and requires you to claim it with a Cloudflare account within 60 minutes to keep it.
  • Netlify Drop is the better pick when you want to claim the upload into a full Netlify account, and Cloudflare Drop fits if you want the project inside Cloudflare Workers.

What works inside a single HTML file on ship.page

When you turn HTML to a URL with a single file, any filename works: the uploader serves that file as the homepage. Put inline style and script tags inside it, or load public libraries and fonts over HTTPS.

Multi-file projects work with no account too. If your page needs local images, audio, video, fonts, JSON or WebAssembly, put an index.html and the assets in a folder or host a ZIP file up to 25 MB (100 MB unpacked, up to 100 files). Folder uploads go up in one 10 MB request (roughly 7 MB of files), so zip anything larger first.

  • Static files only: no PHP, Node.js, Python, databases or WordPress.
  • File paths are case-sensitive, so match exact uppercase and lowercase names.
  • Pre-compressed .br or .gz files are served as-is with no Content-Encoding header.
  • Single-page apps with client-side routes should use hash URLs like #/about because there is no fallback route.

Tip: A lone PDF, image or video file is not accepted by itself; place it inside a folder or ZIP with an index.html that links to or embeds it.

Privacy, search indexing and updating your link

Anonymous uploads are also private from search engines. Every page sends a noindex header, and ship.page never lists uploads in a public directory. Anyone with your link can open it, and free pages show a small "Hosted on ship.page" badge that visitors can close.

If you want to publish HTML without GitHub from a script or terminal, you can also send a single POST request to https://ship.page/deploy with curl, use the MCP server at https://ship.page/mcp or deploy from the GitHub Action.

A free page cannot be updated in place; uploading a new version gives you a new link. Pro is $4 a month (monthly billing, cancel anytime): Pro pages never expire, let you re-upload or edit a page and keep the same link, add password protection, remove the badge, raise limits to 100 MB ZIPs (400 MB unpacked) and 10,000 files, and include up to 5 custom subdomains like yourname.ship.place.

Questions

Is there a free way to host an HTML file without an account?

Yes. On ship.page you drag in a single .html file up to 10 MB, a .zip up to 25 MB or a folder of up to 100 files and get a live HTTPS link in seconds. You do not need an account, an email address or a credit card.

Does Netlify Drop work without an account?

Netlify Drop lets you upload a single HTML file, folder or ZIP without signing in first, but the deployed site stays behind a temporary password until you claim it with a Netlify account. According to Netlify's blog, an unclaimed drop expires on its own.

How long do Vercel Drop and Cloudflare Drop links last without signing in?

Vercel Drop keeps an unclaimed static deployment online for one hour before it expires, and framework projects require a signed-in account from the start. Cloudflare Drop publishes to a workers.dev link that you must claim with a Cloudflare account within 60 minutes to keep.

Will search engines index my anonymous HTML file on ship.page?

No. Every uploaded page is served with a noindex header so search engines leave it out, and ship.page does not list uploads anywhere public. Only people who have your link can open the page.

Can I edit an anonymously hosted HTML file and keep the same URL?

On the free plan, a page cannot be updated in place, so uploading a changed file creates a new link. With a free account (no card) you can claim uploads and they stay online as long as you keep them, and on Pro ($4 a month) you can re-upload or edit a page while keeping the same link.

What is the file size limit for a single HTML file?

A single .html file can be up to 10 MB on every ship.page plan. If your page has separate images, scripts or styles, zip them with an index.html up to 25 MB (100 MB unpacked) on the free plan or 100 MB (400 MB unpacked) on Pro.
