How to turn your trip plan into a shareable link
Generate your itinerary HTML
Paste your rough notes, spreadsheet rows or wedding weekend schedule into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini using the prompt below. Ask for a single self-contained index.html file with all styles inline.
Check your map links and booking details
Make sure every restaurant, hotel and meeting point links to https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=<address> so guests can tap to open each place in Google Maps. Double-check check-in times, confirmation codes and phone numbers.
Upload or paste on ship.page
Open ship.page in your browser and paste the HTML directly, or drag in your index.html file (up to 10 MB). If you want to include local photos or maps, put index.html and your images in a folder (roughly 7 MB of files) or a .zip up to 25 MB.
Share the link and QR code with your group
Your page is live in seconds on its own HTTPS subdomain with no account required. Copy the URL into the group chat, or download the PNG from the success screen to print a website QR code on welcome bags or wedding programs.
Turn rough trip notes into a phone-first itinerary HTML file
Prompt
Build a single self-contained index.html file (all CSS and JavaScript inline, no external frameworks) for a mobile-first travel itinerary page. Trip title: [Trip or Wedding Weekend Name] Dates and destination: [Dates and City/Country] Here are the raw itinerary notes, booking references and contacts: [paste itinerary notes] Requirements: 1. Sticky horizontal day picker at the top so guests can jump to each day. 2. Each day shown as clean cards with start times, activity titles, short notes and booking reference badges. 3. Every venue or address linked to Google Maps using the format https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=<URL-encoded address> so tapping opens Maps on phones and computers. 4. A dedicated section at the bottom for hotel details, flight or train booking numbers and emergency contacts with tap-to-call tel: links. 5. High-contrast, readable typography designed for a phone screen in bright sunlight, plus a @media print stylesheet so the whole schedule prints cleanly on paper or saves as a PDF.
Copy the code from ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini and either paste it straight into ship.page or save it as index.html.

Why is a web page better than a PDF or spreadsheet in a group chat?
Spreadsheets force people to pinch and zoom on a phone screen while standing on a street corner, and long chat messages get buried under photos. A dedicated web page formats every day as a vertical stack of cards that fits a phone screen cleanly.
When you build a page from your notes or publish a ChatGPT website, each address can become a tappable link. Using the format https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=<address> opens the location straight in Google Maps on both phones and computers.
You cannot upload a standalone PDF or image file directly to ship.page. If you want to attach tickets or PDF confirmations alongside your schedule, put them inside a folder or ZIP with your index.html file and link to them from the page.
How long does the itinerary link stay online?
If you upload without signing in, your itinerary link stays online for 30 days, which covers most vacations, bachelor or bachelorette trips and conferences. If you sign in with Google or an email link for a free account and claim your upload, the link stays online for 90 days.
Planning a destination wedding or a group trip months in advance often requires a longer window and last-minute schedule changes. On the free tier, pages cannot be edited in place, so uploading a revised file creates a new URL.
Upgrading to Pro on the pricing page for $4 a month lets your page stay online with no expiration, or lets you pick any custom expiry from 60 seconds up. Pro also lets you re-upload or edit your itinerary and keep the exact same link you already sent to guests.
- No account (free): 30 days online, 10 MB single HTML file, 25 MB ZIP (100 MB unpacked), 100 files.
- Free account: 90 days online when claimed, same file limits, no credit card.
- Pro ($4/mo): Never expires, update in place at the same URL, password protection, 100 MB ZIP.
- Team ($19/mo): Everything in Pro plus a vanity subdomain for your group or travel club.
How do you keep hotel addresses and booking codes private?
Every page uploaded to ship.page is served with a noindex header, which tells search engines not to index it, and ship.page never lists uploads in a public directory. Only people who have your link or scan your QR code can open the page.
If your itinerary includes door codes, Airbnb addresses, flight confirmation numbers or a private wedding website schedule, Pro ($4 a month) adds password protection. You can share the link and password in your group chat and cancel the monthly plan anytime after the trip ends.
Tip: Free pages show a small Hosted on ship.page badge that visitors can close; Pro and Team pages never show the badge.
What if there is no cell signal on the trip?
A live itinerary link requires an internet connection to load in a mobile browser. Before heading into remote areas, national parks, flights or international arrival halls without roaming data, print the page or save it as a PDF from your browser.
The prompt on this page asks for a print stylesheet so the day-by-day cards print cleanly on paper.
Questions
How do I share a travel itinerary with a group as a link for free?
Turn your trip notes into an index.html file using the prompt on this page, then drag the file or paste the HTML onto ship.page. You get a live HTTPS link and a downloadable PNG QR code in seconds for free with no signup.
How long will my free travel itinerary website stay online?
An anonymous upload stays online for 30 days. If you sign in with Google or an email link for a free account and claim the upload, it stays online for 90 days.
Can I update the itinerary if flight times or dinner plans change?
On the free tier, pages cannot be updated in place, so uploading a new HTML file gives you a new link to send to the group. On the $4 a month Pro plan, you can edit or re-upload the itinerary and keep the exact same link.
Can I password protect our hotel addresses and booking numbers?
Yes, with the $4 a month Pro plan, which adds a password prompt before visitors can view the itinerary. Every page also includes a noindex header so search engines leave it out, and uploads are never listed publicly.
Can I upload a PDF itinerary directly?
ship.page does not accept a standalone PDF, image or video file by itself. You can either turn the itinerary into an HTML page, or place your PDF inside a folder or ZIP file alongside an index.html page that links to it.
Does the itinerary link work offline during flights or in areas with no signal?
A web page needs an internet connection to open. For parts of the trip without signal, print the page on paper or save it as a PDF from your browser before you leave.
