Invitation website
Paste the invitation ChatGPT made or upload an HTML file, and get a link and a QR code to send your guests in seconds. It's free, there's no account and it works from your phone. Files up to 10 MB.
A file. A folder. A fresh start.
Your static site, one link away.
Uploading publishes your file. The link is public but unlisted, not password-protected, so leave out secrets and confidential content.
Put your invitation online in three steps
- Get the invitation as HTML: ask ChatGPT or another AI to make it as one HTML file, or use an .html file you already have.
- Paste the code into the Paste HTML tab above or upload the file. Add your email address for a backup link, then publish. No account, no password.
- Send the link in WhatsApp, a text or an email, or download the QR code and print it on the card. Guests open it in their browser, with nothing to install.
Or publish the invitation with curl
curl -X POST https://ship.page/deploy \
-H "Content-Type: text/html" \
--data-binary @index.htmlThe response is JSON with your live URL. No account or API key needed.
What your invitation gets
- A public link on its own subdomain, live seconds after you publish
- A QR code for the link, ready to download and print on cards
- Photos, background music, countdowns and map embeds that run in the page
- HTML files up to 10 MB, ZIPs up to 25 MB and 100 files for invitations with separate photos
- No account and no card; claim the link for free to keep it longer

Ask ChatGPT for the invitation
Tell ChatGPT what the event is, with the date, time and place, and ask for one HTML file with the styles and script included. Copy the whole code block, from <!DOCTYPE html> to </html>, and paste it into the uploader.
Photos on your phone aren't part of the code. To add them, put the page and the photos in one folder, name the page index.html and upload the folder or a ZIP of it.
Collecting RSVPs
The page can't store replies itself, because only static files run here. Add a button that opens a Google Form or a Tally form, or ask ChatGPT for a form that sends answers through a form service like Formspree.
What works on the page
Static files only: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and PDFs. JavaScript runs in the visitor's browser, including libraries loaded from a CDN. Server-side code doesn't: no PHP, no Node, no database, no WordPress. If the page works when you open it from your own disk, it works here.
Questions
How do I make an invitation website for free?
Ask ChatGPT or another AI for the invitation as one HTML file, or use a template you have. Paste the code or upload the file above, add your email address and publish. You get a link and a QR code to send your guests, free and with no account.
Can guests open it on their phones?
Yes. The link opens in any mobile browser on iPhone and Android, with nothing to install. Guests can tap it in a chat or scan the QR code on a printed card.
How long does the link work?
Free links stay live for 30 days. Claim the page with a free login to keep it for 90 days from claiming. For an event further out, paid plans keep pages online with no expiry, from $4 a month.
Can I change the details after sending the link?
A free link always shows what you uploaded, so a new date or place means uploading again and sending the new link. Paid named deployments replace the page at the same URL, so the link and QR code you already sent keep working.
Who can see my invitation?
Anyone who has the link or scans the QR code. The URL is unguessable, pages ask search engines not to index them and there's no public list of uploads. Free pages aren't password-protected; paid plans add a password.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It's free and there's no account. The uploader asks for an email address only to send you a backup link for claiming the page later. No password, no credit card.
