Open an HTML file online

Upload an .html file up to 10 MB, or a ZIP up to 25 MB, and it opens on its own link in any browser with its scripts and styles running. Works on iPhone, Android and computers, free, with no account.

Ready to ship

A file. A folder. A fresh start.

Your static site, one link away.

Shipping…

Uploading publishes your file. The link is public but unlisted, not password-protected, so leave out secrets and confidential content.

Open an HTML file in three steps

  1. Find the .html file: in Downloads, in your Files app, or saved from an email or chat attachment.
  2. Upload it above, add your email address for a backup link and publish. No account, no app to install.
  3. Tap the link. The page opens in your browser with everything working, and you can send the same link to anyone.

On a computer? Upload it with one curl

curl -X POST https://ship.page/deploy \
  -H "Content-Type: text/html" \
  --data-binary @index.html

The response is JSON with your live URL. Open it in any browser.

Why open it through a link

  • JavaScript runs, so games, quizzes, charts and calculators work, not just the text
  • Works the same on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac, with nothing to install
  • HTML files up to 10 MB, ZIPs up to 25 MB and 100 files for pages with separate images or scripts
  • One link to send, so other people see the page instead of a file attachment
  • No account and no card; claim the link for free to keep it longer

Opening it without uploading

On a computer, double-click the file or drag it into a browser window. It opens as a local file:// page, which only works on your own machine, and scripts that load modules or fetch data often fail there.

Phones make it harder: there's nothing to double-click, and file apps often show a bare preview or ask which app to use. A link skips all of that and opens in the phone's normal browser.

What works on the page

Static files only: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts and PDFs. JavaScript runs in the visitor's browser, including libraries loaded from a CDN. Server-side code doesn't: no PHP, no Node, no database, no WordPress. If the page works when you open it from your own disk, it works here.

Questions

How do I open an HTML file online?

Upload the .html file above, add your email address and publish. Within seconds you get a link that opens the page in any browser, on a phone or a computer. No account needed.

How do I open an HTML file on my phone?

Open this page in your phone's browser, pick the file from your Files app, Downloads or a saved attachment, then publish and tap the link. The page opens in your browser with its scripts running, on iPhone and Android.

Can I preview the code without uploading it?

Yes. The free HTML viewer in our tools previews code inside your browser without uploading it, with scripts turned off. Upload here when the page needs to run fully or you want to share it.

Is it free, and do I need an account?

It's free and there's no account. The uploader asks for an email address only to send you a backup link for claiming the page later. No password, no credit card.

Who can see my page?

Anyone who has the link. The URL is unguessable, pages ask search engines not to index them and there's no public list of uploads, but free pages aren't password-protected. Leave out passwords and private data; paid plans add password protection.

How long does the link work?

Free links stay live for 30 days. Claim the page with a free login to keep it for 90 days from claiming. Paid plans keep pages online with no expiry.
