For a one-off review, upload for free and send the new link. Claim it from the result screen to extend its lifetime to 90 days from claiming. Claiming does not turn it into a named, replaceable deployment.
For repeated revisions, start a paid named deployment in the dashboard. Upload the next ZIP with the same name to replace the site at that URL. Paid deployments have no expiry by default; adding a Team vanity hostname later can change the URL.
Get feedback you can use
“Any thoughts?” earns you a “looks great!” — which teaches you nothing. Send the link with three specific questions and the review comes back usable:

It works on phones too, so please check it there. Three things would help me most:
1. Does the layout hold up on your phone?
2. Can you get between sections without getting lost?
3. Is anything unclear, missing, or worded oddly?

Can I share a website before putting it on my client's domain?
Yes. Upload the static HTML or ZIP export and share its separate preview URL. It does not change your client's domain or production website.
Is my preview private, or can I password-protect it?
Free uploads live on public, unlisted links: anyone holding the URL can view or forward it, while noindex headers politely ask search engines to stay away (they ask; they don't enforce). Paid plans introduce proper password protection — same link, but visitors hit a password prompt first. Either way, swap confidential client material for dummy data.
Can I keep the same URL for each design revision?
Each upload here creates a new URL. For full replacement at the same URL, use a paid named deployment from the dashboard or API and reuse the same name. Claiming a free upload extends its lifetime but does not name it. Adding Team vanity later can change the hostname.
Will forms, WordPress or a Next.js server work?
Only static browser files run here. PHP, WordPress, server-rendered routes, databases and backend form handlers do not run. Client-side JavaScript can run, but any external API or form service needs its own hosting and access configuration.
How long can my client open the link?
Anonymous uploads live for 30 days by default. Use the claim link in the upload result to attach the preview to a free account and extend it to 90 days from claiming. Keep your original files. Paid deployments have no expiry by default.
