Host app policy pages, free, no signup

Host your app privacy policy and support URLs in seconds

Drop your policy pages as an .html file (up to 10 MB) or a ZIP (up to 25 MB) on ship.page for free store URLs, no signup. That covers the privacy policy, support and account deletion links Google Play and the App Store ask for. Links made without an account stay up for 30 days, and the $4 a month Pro plan keeps them online forever.

How to publish your app store URLs in one upload

  1. Write your policy, support and deletion HTML files

Draft the HTML pages your app needs on your computer. ship.page only hosts static files and does not write or check legal text.

  2. Put each page in its own folder

Create a main project folder with a homepage index.html, plus subfolders named privacy, support and delete-account. Put an index.html file inside each subfolder so they open at clean paths like /privacy/ and /support/.

  3. Drag the folder or a ZIP onto ship.page

Drop your folder (up to roughly 7 MB of files) or a .zip file (up to 25 MB on free) into the browser uploader. You get a live HTTPS subdomain in seconds with no account and no credit card.

  4. Upgrade to Pro and paste the links into the store consoles

Free links expire after 30 days, or 90 days with a free account, so publish the final pages on Pro ($4 a month) before you submit your app for review. Copy your /privacy/, /support/ and /delete-account/ links into Google Play Console and App Store Connect.

Public web pages required by app stores

PageNeeded byWhat it must have
Privacy policyGoogle Play and Apple App Store Connect (iOS and macOS)Valid privacy policy linked in the store console and inside the app
Support pageApple App Store ConnectActual contact info (legal address, email, phone) per local law
Account deletion pageGoogle PlayWay to delete an account and its data on the web (not just freeze it)

What URLs do Google Play and App Store Connect require?

Both major mobile stores require public web addresses before you can release an app. Google Play requires a valid privacy policy posted in the designated field in Play Console and linked within the app itself. If your app lets users create accounts, Google Play also requires a way to delete an account and its data both in the app and on an external web resource, and freezing an account is not a substitute.

In Apple App Store Connect, a Privacy Policy URL is required for all iOS and macOS apps. Apple also requires a Support URL that leads to actual contact information, such as a legal address, email address or telephone number, as may be required by local law.

Tip: ship.page does not generate legal policies or verify store compliance, so write your own HTML text before uploading.

How do you put /privacy/, /support/ and /delete-account/ on one link?

You do not need to manage three separate uploads or buy a full website setup. When you use the ZIP to website uploader or drag in a folder, a subfolder named privacy with its own index.html opens at /privacy/ on the same link.

File paths on ship.page are case-sensitive, so keep your folder and file names lowercase. If you prefer to start with a single page, you can use the HTML code to website tool to publish one index.html file up to 10 MB.

  • index.html at the root becomes your main app page or free landing page
  • privacy/index.html opens at your-subdomain/privacy/
  • support/index.html opens at your-subdomain/support/
  • delete-account/index.html opens at your-subdomain/delete-account/

Why use Pro for a live app listing?

App store links must never stop working once your app is live. On the free tier, an unclaimed upload stays online for 30 days, and claiming it with a free account (using Google or an email link) keeps it online for 90 days. A free page also cannot be updated in place: uploading a revised policy creates a brand new link.

For a published app, use the Pro plan on the pricing page for $4 a month (billed monthly, cancel anytime). Pro pages never expire and let you re-upload or edit your HTML while keeping the exact same URL, so the links in your app and store listing keep working after you fix a typo or update an email address. If you want your own company name in the address, the Team plan ($19 a month) adds a vanity subdomain.

Tip: Static HTML forms on your account deletion page need a third-party form service, because ship.page hosts static files only and does not run server code like PHP, Node.js or Python.

When is another host a better fit?

No ship.page plan offers custom domains. If you already own a domain name for your studio and want your policies hosted on that exact domain, a traditional static host with custom domain support is a better fit.

Every page uploaded to ship.page is also served with a noindex header, which tells search engines not to list it in search results. Anyone with the link (including store reviewers and your users) can open it over HTTPS, which is ideal for policy and deletion pages that do not need search traffic.

Questions

Do I need a full website for my app privacy policy?

No. The privacy policy fields in Google Play Console and App Store Connect ask for a public URL that opens your policy in a web browser, not a full website. A single HTML file or a small folder on ship.page gives you that URL.

Can I host my app privacy policy for free?

Yes, for testing. Uploading an HTML file or ZIP on ship.page is free with no signup and stays live for 30 days, or 90 days if you claim it with a free account. Because store links for published apps must stay online permanently, use the $4 a month Pro plan for production apps.

Can I upload a PDF of my privacy policy?

A lone PDF file is not accepted by the uploader. Write your policy as an index.html file, or put the PDF inside a folder or ZIP alongside an index.html file.

What happens when I update my privacy policy text?

On the free tier, a page cannot be updated in place, so a new upload gets a new URL. On the $4 a month Pro plan and $19 a month Team plan, you can edit or re-upload your page and keep the exact same link.

How do I handle account deletion requests on a static page?

Google Play requires an external web resource where users can request account and data deletion. Since ship.page hosts static files only with no server code or database, you can link to a third-party form service or provide direct instructions on your /delete-account/ page.

Will search engines index my policy and support pages?

No. Every uploaded page is sent with a noindex header and is not listed anywhere public on ship.page. Anyone who has the link from your app or store listing can still open it.
